Also, I just went for a surf but was turned off by the amount of people hanging at the beach. Also, I taught my son how to ride a bike yesterday. We’ve been taking daily walks and I’ve been rowing a lot ! I don’t like to sit still. Now that I’m not working, I’m gonna build a shed. Maybe teach the neighbor hood kids how to swing a hammer (from a distance). |

As a high risk group I've been holed up for over a week, no fast food, no visitors, only leaving to walk the dog etc. The bright side? I'm down 12 lbs in the last few weeks, and down 30 lbs from my all time highest weight. I haven't been this low in nearly 5 years. Stoked! Turns out changes in diet, exercise, and routine can have a positive effect. When this is over I will be back on my little boards again, rocking the post-quarantine beach bod (unless weight loss is a sign of corona, then I'm f*cked). Today we got a ton of yardwork done. My spouse is my new (and only) coworker, and we haven't killed each other yet. Life is okay. |

I learned a. lot from erik, which gave me good tips and advise, but from there to see a good result, is a long way. So I will keep practicing. I am keeping myself happy making my own margaritas. They are supreme. I nailed down the recipe, so if anyone needs help, here I am. Also started cleaning the garages, and sheds. Lots of trash went to the dump already. And went twice to surf already. Stay away from people as much as I can. Except today, that I finally met Cuda, super cool guy. And we stayed 6 ft apart. Is it me or anyone else thinks this is the tip of an iceberg, and this shit is gonna get real raw. We didn't experience such a catastrophe at a global level in 7 decades. Not only sanitary, but economically and the the list goes on and on. Anyway,stocked on basic suplies: tequila, limes, Cointraeu, Agave nectar, drinking water, and bullets. |

This too shall pass. I gave some thought to the ding repairs but my skills at it are nonexistent... Can repair lots of other stuff but when I see what local ding repair dudes do for $100-$200.... I'm rationalizing that I'm better at stimulating the local economy than mixing catalyst and resin myself. |

Made a set of screwdrivers for my son to keep in his gig bag since I had some bog oak to make handles from. Lots of ping pong and working out. Then I listened to my dermatologist and she went to town on my forehead, nose, and ears on Friday. Franctional laser plus PDT - jeez, that messed me up. Stoked though, my right eye is now unswollen enough to read a little bit. By tomorrow I plan to tune my old ukes and learn a song with my daughter. So lucky to have a really cool wife and kids - they are making this easy. |

The best part is that mine is in great condition, everything is tuned up just right. No dry spots on the ice like in the wild -- I went so far as to use Pledge on the ice surface (as recommended in the manual) to make sure it was in prime working order. Here's the back story: A buddy of mine worked for a company that had two of these in his break room. There was a company merger, so management decided to auction them off. He knew that I love Super Chexx and had some other arcade games, so he offered to place a bid for me. I cleared him to bid up to $550. My winning bid ended up being $130. HUGE win for me! These suckers are like $3500 brand new. Virtually zero wear and tear and very lightly used. The play counter (inside) was registering 000000 because it had always been set to free play. (I clocked it up a bit when I started using tokens to get the arcade effect of dropping in a coin to play.) Ohhhhh yeah. Love me some Super Chexx. |
