True lots of foam to paddle but a board that can ride in most conditions in Southern Calif makes it that much more fun it always isn't optimum is true. The other alternative is to surf the crowded points with tons of people and get only a hand full of waves or surf a ass-kick'n beach break and hone your skills. Here's an 11' X 24" wide Larmo.
