47708 518 8' boards 93 pilau May 26, 2013 2013-05-26T09:30:30-0400 on size... we are talking about a whole bunch of different craft in this thread. Eggs / hulls / mini-mals / midlengths / baby guns from a byegone era... the only similarity is the length of the board. My 7'6'' Liddle hull is super fun in small or large, but doesn't seem to do well in hollow surf for me and my ability. My 7'6'' Con egg loves a bit more push to the wave and handles the hollow stuff. My 7ft Cooepr vpin handles the mean days. My 7'6'' Brom mini-mal (kind of like a Tak Scorpion) is a small longboard replacement that I haven't tried out in waves of any consequence. That said, I think I'm finding what suits me these days. The anti-pig. Wide point forward, pulled in tail. Not what the cool kids are into, but I love the way they bottom turn and drive down the line. I'm a narrow stance, weight forward kind of surfer. Gotta get in where you fit in. Anyone here ride a Russ Short bonzer? I've talked to Smukes about then and regret letting one slip through my fingers. Also a Bonzer 5 singe wing egg.
