To clarify my opinion (again, just my opinion), they don't do anything better than a board a foot or so longer or shorter would do. To me, that length is fun on lazy days in mediocre waves when you just want to mess around. I have some boards in that size range and don't have anything against them, just haven't reached for them for a while. I'm just not into trannies right now, but like everything in life, that could always change. Also, i don't like hulls, twin keels, longboards over 9'6", loud 4 cylinder cars that sound like lawn mowers, beets, rat rods, skinny jeans on guys, weird names for colors, hot dog burps, etc. |
