I finally got to ride it in pretty good conditions last week, and it still doesn't feel as intuitive for me as my other quads, especially on my backside. It seems extra sensitive to takeoff angle, where it feels like my late takes offs require that single concave "counter steer" where I lean to my opposite rail to de-engage the lift of that big concave for a turn. I find it's not that much of a problem if I can be good about taking off straight, and sorta go more top to bottom, but we don't often get those kinda waves here when it's fun sized. If anyone in the area has an Ellis Edge up to around 6'6", I'd love to board swap and compare. |
