That suit still works as a backup and Matuse is going to replace the zipper at their cost. I just bought a new Tumo 6/5. It's very thick rubber with only a single layer of fabric liner. I've decided to spend 2x or more on suits that last for many years. A close second is the Isurus 6/5. It's more flexible and fits a little better, but possibly not as warm. I'm selling mine in favor of Matuse. A distant third, but still solid, is my Feral 5/4. It's on the thin side, durable and flexible. I used in October, November, April and May. |
