In terms of technical, it's basically an edwards style board with a pin tail for turning. Cliff is considered "the other Skip" by Chris, so you can see the similarities between the eagle and the pin. no concave in the nose, made for trim speed. (chris hates the word glider so we'll never say that in descriptions) it's more of a trimming longboard than a bigboard or glider, but it can be used as one. Click to expand... I had a 9'10", 23.5" wide and sub 3" thick. Very smooth, easy to surf board that really only needed a small step forward to be on the gas. Super mellow bottom contours that you'd mistake for completely flat if you didn't have a ruler to check it. It's funny, hearing that Cliff wanted some extra v further up toward the middle makes me think that you'd really be able to do alot from the sweet spot on this board and not have to move around much at all if you didn't want to. The board is kinda down rail, like 70/30 through most of the center but more like 50/50 in the nose, and pretty knifey foiled tail with edge that started right around the front of the fin. It was plenty walkable mostly due to the width and pretty flat bottom. I never once felt the urge to try to noseride it, always just enjoyed nice swoopy turns and flying through sections. I rode a 9.75" 4a fin in it and it felt perfect, but feel like you'd need to go a bit bigger and stiffer on the fin to slow it down some and keep it near the pocket if you wanted to noseride, otherwise it wants to run. Phil Edward's style for sure, really sick board, loggy glider speed shape thing. Now I want another one
