I got the carbon color which on their site told me to go L but XL in the black color. Don’t know what that is about. It is a bit different from the Hyperfreak Fire from a few years ago. I have a back zip 3/2+ that I absolutely love, I got it in Nov 2022. The new version is softer, thinner and extremely stretchy. I can tell that it is going to have a need to babied it is that soft of a material on the arms and shoulders even being “ thicker” than my old one. The knee pads feel like a funky fabric material and I am not fond of them. Ya it is extremely flexible in the knee but not sure the wear factor on them. I got the new suit because my 3/2+ one and I had a funky wipeout where a shoulder high wave denied me access to a quick left and dumped me ass first literally onto a set of NVS twinzer fins. Sliced that 3/2 up like hot techno butter but only gave me a minor scratch. I got to watch the whole thing play out too and how I didn’t in up at Urgent Care I don’t know. Maybe I clinched my ass cheeks so tight that I had a super power. Frog House should be getting my suit fixed up soon hopefully. |
