Check out the minute long intro, narrated by Leonard Nimoy. It's 10/10 terrifying. For a kid at least. It wasn't 10 years later I was being told we were all going to burn up. Professor Gifford, who in the above episode claimed the earth had been cooling and the next Ice Age had already begun, now claims the opposite: https://www.colorado.edu/instaar/gifford-h-miller Perhaps both are true...I used to think the idea of needing more blankets AND less blankets at the same time was just a joke. |
