Appreciate some good surf shops, but the surf schools and guides, no thanks. I still subscribe in taking a little info and exploring from there. The is a spot in N. Oregon that is heavily localized and for good reason--it requires experienced intermediate to advanced surfing skills and water knowledge. There are plenty of easier, safer spots very closeby in the same cove area. In the Maryland area we would often walk south at the Federal Seashore, atleast two peaks beyond the last peak people are riding. Then guess what happens: people walk right by those peaks to "join us." Or, people with 4WD pull right up to your spot. |
