Do you ride them in different conditions? How do they go in bigger and smaller surf in comparison? Click to expand... both my current eggs are twinzers 6'8" SK and 7'2" FM. I would say i ride them in the same conditions i rode my single or 2+1 eggs. I do feel the FM for its size paddles faster and catches waves better. It also seems faster on the wave face. I personally think the twinzers / twins are better for the more medium sized surf that i usually surf. I maybe had the twinzer in surf to 6' and it felt hard to keep in the pocket as it just went so fast out of a bottom turn. Its really exciting in waves with juice, but feel you need to be on your "A" game.... unless you just want to go straight and trim out to the shoulder. If i was consistently riding head high + i think a 2+1 offers more control and predictability. vice versa the 2+1 is a bit sluggish in smaller slopey stuff. The single fin maybe is a step behind the twinzer... i think single fin might actually be slower down the line than the twin.... hard to say.... but the single ( on a 2+1 board) is more loose and free on the slopey stuff.
