How do they compare? I'm wondering if I could sell my parallax and then just go ahead and grab that slasher Click to expand... I had a parallax 9'3 and have a poly Lo Pro no comparison in how they surf but both fantastic boards. The Lo Pro is easily the best nose riding board I have ever had and is a sweet turner both pivot and carving. My surfing has really improved since I got it and have been working on technique. Mine is heavy though at 20 pounds. Has a cedar stringer. It really holds in steep sucky sections on the nose, you can really go for it. I also had a sprout and an apex and the lo pro is so much more rewarding to surf than those two. The parallax is a lot more forgiving to surf and more of a fun board and great in slop and mush. My mate is getting a T bolt Lo pro so be interesting to see how that surfs in comparison to the poly. Its interesting as 25 years ago I had a McTavish Ray Gleave model that had a massive tail flip and flat rocker front 2/3 rds very similar template to the Lo Pro couldnt do that board justice then. Would advise keep the Parallax and get a Lo Pro. Great 2 board quiver. |
