| 299123 | 17382 | California--Current State of Living? | 45 | dingdong | Dec 5, 2023 | 2023-12-04T20:20:40-0500 | I pretty much grew up here in CA, and love it, beautiful weather, diverse cultures and foods readily available, surf everywhere when it's breaking, and yes biggest negative is probably housing, I'm not sure how any newly married couple with regular jobs can buy a house here, and I think alot of the pricing is propped up by foreign investments and buyers scooping up homes here, but hopefully the market adjusts once prices get too absurd |
