| 213587 | 7331 | Those parallel railed, wide tailed logs... | 85 | RockyIsland | Jul 17, 2021 | 2021-07-17T05:27:00-0400 | jory said: I have. it's a slightly different thing to the osprey and the Michael takayama boards I think. I think it's best described as a single Fin nose rider designed for Surfers who ride performance longboards if that makes sense. it does noseride insanely well but it's quite light and the concave makes it sit high on the water so it's pretty loose off the tail ( I've seen Ben skinner and also a local guy here chuck one quite vertically) it feels quite different to a normal single fin log ( more twitchy and lively) which might suit you or it might not. one of My friends is a die hard performance longboarder and has said it's the least boring single fin he's ridden. Click to expand... Cheers for that Jory appreciate the advice. I am really enjoying Ben and CJs approach to blending Logging with HP so am keen to try one. How would it compare to a Model T as that would be the only wide/parallel rail log I have ridden and I have never owned a dedicated nose rider. The last 10 years I have surfed wide point back pulled in nose Involvement logs but as I am getting older and slower thought I might try one of these as I like the idea of a slightly pulled in nose template and a dedicated nose rider. I understand you have a Dead Kooks Nausea of which I have a had a go on a mates. How would that compare to the Cherry Picker? THanks again |
