Any JB'ers riding them? They seem to be working well under the feet of talented people, but curious to know how they go for mere mortals. Click to expand... I'm definitely a mere mortal and a confirmed weekend warrior. Here's my take from another thread: "I rode a Speed Demon in San Diego last summer and my conclusion was that I simply may not be the astronaut for that spacecraft. I'm surfing a lot more regularly now and have access to my friend's Speed Demon....maybe I'll give it another whirl. My daily driver is a Dane shaped 9'8" trad-noserider. It's always hard not to paddle that thing out. I love it so." Maybe I'll get another chance soon. Now that fall is upon us and the waves should be picking up, I think I'll borrow my friend's board and report back. |
