160507 7331 Those parallel railed, wide tailed logs... 13 JBorbone Nov 14, 2019 2019-11-14T16:43:29-0500 exactly, the same way (albeit to a lesser degree) Jamie O'Brien will make a soft-top Catch Surf look fun at pumping Pipeline. it's all about personal preference. those guys clearly love those crazy foiled and wide tails, but you might hate it. or you might love it. totally unique feel and only YOU can determine if it harmonizes with your style and preferences in how a board rides. some else's opinion shouldn't inform whether or not you give it a go. I personally hate how wider tails feel under foot because I like to have immediate response between toeside and heelside rail when rocking my back ankle.. I'm not a power surfer off my back leg. If you are though (I know @Tenfooter is) then it might work great for you
