A turn, a quick tube ride, cutback & you were out. The Sting fit the bill perfectly, but then the boyz took it elsewhere & turned heads. Buttons especially ran counter to the grain of the pack, he was ahead of the game by years. Buttons was to surfing what Jimi Hendrix was to music. Both stars shone brightly for too short a time for us. |
