UPDATE: I HAVE BEEN OUT MANY TIMES ON THIS BOARD, AND WHILE I HAVE BEEN RIDDING SHORTER STUFF LATELY, THIS IS A GREAT BOARD THAT IS A NICE MIX OF TURNING AND NOSERIDING, ESPECIALLY WITH THE ALKALI THOMAS FIN) 8'8 Eric Christenson Superduper sled( I got this to fit into my, at the time, tiny car do I could have a "log" in the car on the applicable days. I kept it as it is too fun. Kinda transition era-ish) 7'8 Takayama Flo Model( I got this board in 2001, it is completely shot, delamed, etc. but it is ridden once a year for the hell of it) 7'0 Mandala Avocet (2 plus 1 fin set up. A board that seems like a niche choice, but has been an often used board. It came with a 9 in Greenough, but swapped it for a weird 8in FCS Whip fin and it feels wildly different. UPDATE, I SWAPPED THE FIN ON THIS BOARD FOR AN ALMOND 7.75IN FIN, MORE UPRIGHT TEMPLATE. IT LOST SOME OF ITS FLOWING FLAVOR, BUT A BIT MORE RESPONSIVE IN BEACH BREAKS) 6'7 Mccallum PDX( Quad glass ons. I have only had the board for a short time, but on the few good waves I got last swell, it inspired me to trim down and get in shape for the bigger swells. I DROPPED A FEW LBS AND BEGAN RIDDING SHORTER STUFF, INCLUDE THIS BOARD ,IN THE LAST SWELL WE HAD TO REALLY GREAT RESULTS. WORKS BETTER BACKSIDE THAN I IMAGINED AND REALLY MAKES SPEED FEEL CONTROLLABLE) NEW : 6'8 JOSH HALL FISH SIMMONS (GLASS ON WOOD QUADS. A GREAT BOARD TO RIDE WHEN THE WAVES ARE WAIST HIGH AND UP, AND THE MORE I RIDE IT, THE MORE I LIKE IT. HAD A FEW GREAT WAVES TODAY IN OCEANSIDE, SHOULDER HIGH, AND IT FLEW. MORE THAN WORKED IN CHEST TO SHOULDER HIGH BLOWN OUT AND MUSHY CARDIFF. I IMAGINE I'LL RIDE THIS BOARD OFTEN ON THOSE MEDIUM SZE DAYS OR WHEN I AM A BIT SURFED OUT AND WANT THE PADDLE POWER) NEW:5'10 MIKE GRIFFIN TWIN KEEL FISH(GLASS ON WOOD KEELS.VERY FAST AND VERY FUN, THOUGH I AM STILL ADJUSTING TO THE SIZE OF THE BOARD. GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP AND A MORE THAN FAIR PRICE. KILLS MUSHY DAYS) Click to expand... Man, this is a hell of a quiver my friend! We've got similar taste in shapers and boards, really love your stock here. Those Super Sleds are really one of the best all-rounders I've ridden.
