So today looked promising. Asked a buddy if he felt like joining - he did but it meant a later start. Stoked! Glassy mid-day conditions, all the lunch crowd getting out as we got in, and a super laid-back session to follow. Some carvey waves, some pump for speed and kickout at the last-second waves, a few set up behind the peak and noseride waves. All with a killer blue and purple surface and grey and purple sky. A late birthday present, but worth waiting for. |
