I got out yesterday after work for 2 hours on my Phillips pig. I watched the offshore winds on the cam all day, but wouldn't you know it, the wind switched to south as soon as I got there. It was still very fun though and bigger than I expected it to be -- shoulder high sets with even some bigger ones rolling in about an hour before high tide. It was a nice change of pace to take off on a wave and actually get to travel downward a bit before bottom turning! |
