You and he surf similar waves and he probably has a good grasp on what'll work. CA boards are different than what we should all ride. Not saying all are different but their rocker in longboards is flatter for the most part. I've surfed a ptlw and they work well for waves you describe but there are a lot of other options. Especially if noseriding is not your thing. |
