First photo is my son on a surfboard for the first time. 9'6"" takayama double ender. At that time (early 2000s) it was a tudor model called ""Flow"". Owned that board for 10 years and then sold it to guy in Seattle for 50 bucks less than I paid for it new. My kid has never really taken to the idea of surfing but he enjoys the ocean. Second photo is of him of few months ago taken at Seaforth Sportfishing landing at Mission Bay. His team won the tournament that day - all youth. He brought home about 20 lbs of bonita. Stoked.
