I honestly don't think I'd be surfing if I had a three hour drive. I don't live by the sea but my drive is about 7min early morning, 15min busy traffic to the closet break. Sometimes I'll sleep at my sister's who managed to buy a house right on my homebreak, 1 min walk to the water. So a three hour drive blows my mind.
