By all means, if you want a glider in the quiver get one. They are a blast to ride in the right conditions. But in my experience/opinion they generally aren't an optimal board choice for most beach break set-ups. I'd look at other boards in my quiver before contemplating my 10' 10\".\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nyep, routinely cycle through a half dozen boards at the local, ranging from racy midlengths to fun guns to hplb's shorter to longer.
