Mine is an 8'2. It has a really deep V bottom. Almost feels like it \"flops\" over from one side of the V to the other when you do a turn. Once you commit to a turn in one direction, it seems really hard to correct and go back the other way. I'll admit I haven't put enough time in to it to get it dialed in. There are other V bottoms from that era with less pronounced V's that are probably easier to ride.
