Board slaps and hops and in general that front 8 to 10 inches just never gets wet. My favored length for these is 6'3 to 6'5. I'm 6'2.  These are not good turners from center.\n        \n\n\nClick to expand...\n\n\n\n\nI've never noticed the slap/hops. Pic is myself on a 7'6\" mitsven quad long fish at O-Side Jetties. One of THE funnest boards at Swamis on a head high day when it's running all the way to the sand. I usually found my back foot about a foot past the fins. Board turned on a dime. Now, to be fair I'm 6'3\" 240 so I have a bit extra size/weight to push the board around and bury the shit out of the rail. Funnest \"long fish\" for me are typically 6'8\" quads but this 7'6\" was a wonderful board."]], "columns": ["post_id", "thread_id", "thread_title", "post_number", "author_username", "post_date", "post_date_iso", "post_body"], "primary_keys": ["post_id"], "primary_key_values": ["234805"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.3705709989153547, "license": "Public Domain"}
