Friday night it wasn't any more then ankle high and somehow at 9'6 I was still able to catch most everything.  I don't know if it's the wide tail, the overall width, the pulled in nose or what, but it seems to work.  On Saturday the swell picked up a bit, still not great and it was more of the same.
