Many of my surf buddies owned them. The shop was only 10 miles from my home so there were plenty around at the time. \"The Eliminator\", \"AAA Contender\", \"Penetrator\", \"Blue Machine\", \"Camel\" were some of their top models. Aside from Bob Cooper's \"Blue Machine\", none of those boards were really my cup of tea. I was more inclined to some of the Bing, Yater, and Weber models. During the early 1970's, I had so many that were left at my beach house, I had to give away at least a dozen or so because there was no room left in my yard. You can only fit so many surfboards on a 25' X 75' beach lot.
