There's a slippery ness and spring from the fin and rail engagement as you bottom turn and high line trim that is enjoyable and not quite like anything else. They are also niche enough to be evangelised about by those \"in the club\"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBut they are very one dimensional in the way they surf and the wave they need. They are not properly functional when held up against other boards. That is part of the appeal to some. They look like they are hard to ride because they kind of are -at least to get them to break a very lateral trim line.
