I was watching Single Fin Yellow one night and thought it would be a good idea to send a board up and down the coast.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSo long story short\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6Austin is putting the finishing touches on a 9\u00e2\u20ac\u21228\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Soul Glide that will be invading a break near you.  He will follow up with more details (he won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even tell me what the thing looks like) when it is closer to completion.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is all I know about the board from the man himself:\n\n\n\n\nDims:  9'8x23.5x3.125 Soul Glide\n\n\n\nBlended concave to rolled bottom.  50/50 rails and glassed with an 8-6-8 volan glassjob.  as for the colorwork.....you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re gonna have to wait.\n\n\n\nAustin\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is the model\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.not the specific board.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nI hope to bring the board back up to NJ when I head down to Austin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on April 5[sup]th[/sup].  Anyone in NJ that wants to use it, drop me a PM and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s yours (I won't be back in the water 'til May).  I will need it back to bring it to the NY Fish Fry on May 4[sup]th[/sup] and the Anything But 3 in LBI on May 5[sup]th[/sup].  After that, I hope to get the board as far north as possible (unforgiven\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6you in?) and then it can make its way down the coast hopefully to FL. Someone could even put up a MySpace page dedicated to this board.  That allows for story, comments, pics, video.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nI know the plan is for an Eastcoast journey but if it's making it's way to the Westcoast, what the heck. The colored glass in the tail block is transparent. I wonder if its possible to have a spot on the board say where a deck patch would be that could be transparent(no foam just really strong glass)?
